So. Many. Brackets. The 700r4 I'm putting in Emma came out of a wagon with a column shifter. I had to pull the floor shifter compatible brackets off the th350 that came out of my car. Only one of the brackets fit, looks like I get to do more fabrication. Oh Boy! Might as well take the opportunity to buy a new shifter cable while I'm at it.

It's automatic :( It was too expensive to swap in a 4-speed. Trust me, I looked at my options.

So far the parts I had to buy to support my transmission have costed more than the transmission itself ($75). All those little $20 purchases add up.

Probably not. I got it for $75 off of CL, I did a fluid and filter service and that's it. I haven't driven the car yet so hopefully it's all good, the pan was nice and clean so I doubt anything is wrong with it. Transmissions are witchcraft, I don't want to rebuild one.
